DUI Classes
This class provides Alcohol/Drug Awareness Prevention Education and is the course required for attendance for DUI, DWI, DWH, or OUI charge/conviction in the court or Education Awareness for those who need license reinstatement.
Why do people attend this class?
Take this class if you were charged with a DUI/DWI/OWI/DWH or any other operating under the influence charge/arrest. This class meets the State requirements for those receiving a charge in Tennessee. Including those that have received an Out of State charge and/or hold a license in other states and/or reside in that state.
Alcohol/Drug Risk Prevention
The purpose of this course is to provide Alcohol/Drug Awareness Education Prevention Training.
Why do people attend this class?
This class is for persons who have been charged with possession of controlled substance or open intoxicants, public drunkenness or any offense involving alcohol/drugs that are not related to driving under the influence.
Defensive Driving
The defensive driving classes are good for point prevention, license reinstatement, insurance discounts, re-education or a defensive driving refresher course and all classes are are certified by the Dept. of Safety and the National Safety Council.
Why do people attend this class?
Take this class if you have been ordered by a local court for ticket/citation removal or if you have been directed by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. This class is not behind-the-wheel training. Note: Most local tickets only require 4 hour classes to keep the charge off your record. 8 hours is required by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
Our Mission Statement
A+ DUI & Defensive Driving Schools, LLC has been providing quality educational prevention training programs to East Tennessee since 2001. Our goal is to do three things in presenting these classes: “To save lives, time and money.” This is an ideal class for young people, those that have been driving for several years, or anyone needing a refresher training course.
It is our top priority to provide equality educational prevention training classes to our clients. It is our goal to provide educational information that will improve the lives of those that attend. The National Safety Council’s defensive driving courses we provide will save Lives, Time and Money. The PRIME for Life program helps people learn how to reduce their risk of alcohol and drug related problems throughout life.
It is our goal to provide our clients with the most up-to-date educational Alcohol/Drug prevention classes. Classes will be presented in a professional manner and the clients will receive the necessary tools to improve their lives and reduce the negative outcome of high risk choices. The Prime for Life is a Risk Reduction – Educational Prevention class designed to help people learn how to reduce their risk and prevent alcohol/drug related problems in their life and protect the things they value.
Prime for Life is based upon evidence from many fields and is designed with respect for the thousands of people who take this program each year. It does not moralize or dictate the need for change. We believe that people have good reason for their beliefs and behaviors. We believe that with new information, time to process it, and support for change, most people are willing to explore new beliefs and change behaviors – if the information is valid, the support is genuine, and the benefits are clear.
This class is the State of Tennessee’s mandated program. We offer classes to anyone wishing to gain knowledge in education prevention. Classes are licensed by the Department of Health in Tennessee and Prime for Life. All Instructors are licensed and trained from the State of Tennessee and Prevention Research Institute.
National Safety Council
We offer the National Safety Council’s defensive driving classes (4 and 8 hours). The Instructors that teach these classes are certified and trained Instructors and are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Safety and the National Safety Council. The leading Instructor has 35 years of teaching experience. The primary theme of these classes focuses on the dangers of driving and presents skills and techniques on how to prevent accidents, injuries, and deaths.
